We welcome Vedant Sharma as an incoming researcher at the BANDAS Center.
Vedant Sharma is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Management, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, specializing in SME development and business models through the lens of financial and operational data. His doctoral research focuses on enhancing SME business models using financial and operational data during periods of crisis — a study for which he was competitively awarded a research grant by his university, selected from among applicants in recognition of the work's academic and practical merit.
Vedant holds an M.S. in Business Intelligence from Wrocław University of Science and Technology, completed under the prestigious NAWA Scholarship, during which he was also awarded the Rector's Scholarship and the Academic Excellence Award. His undergraduate background bridges technology and business — he holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, where he graduated as a Gold Medalist and received the prestigious Dewang Mehta IT Award.
Beyond his academic pursuits, Vedant is the founder of Skolarify, a startup aimed at bridging the gap between fragmented academic communities by bringing them together on a single, unified platform. His work reflects a strong commitment to translating research into real-world impact — connecting data-driven insights on SMEs with the broader goal of building more resilient and innovative business ecosystems.
